Tipster won in no matter what happens today..Tippster  won on the tie break rule.. congrats Tippster!

No he hasnt,

Tippster is 21-6 with 1,348 total wins

biggest is 20-6-1 with 1,533 total wins

So if biggest wins today and tipp doesnt play,they are both 21-6 and would have the same winning % for the month,and the next tie breaker is most total wins,and biggest has him there.

If tipster plays and wins today,then he wins.If he plays and loses,and biggest wins,then tippster would be 21-7,biggest would be 21-6-1,biggest would win on the better % tiebreaker.

First tie breaker is winning percentage. The rest you wrote doesn’t mean anything .. once again congrats Tippster !

21-6-1 and 21-6 is not the same as he has played more games

 The rules stipulate that the first tie breaker is winning percentage , and if that’s tied then it goes to overall wins. 

If biggestgmanfan gets his pick correct today he will be 21-6-1.  The rules stipulate to calculate the percentage you would add the push as 0.5 to the win total divided by the total amount of picks. In this case it would be 21.5 / 28 picked is 76.8%. 

If I don’t pick anything today I will be 21-6. 21 / 27 picked is 77.8 %.  

If he loses his pick today then it’s over. 

My question is , how did he get that Indiana / Providence over at 134.5 ?  He picked Just after 9 am and it’s already up to 142.5 two hours later ?

You are right,I have never seen that before with the push's counted with whatever that math equation was,unless it was changed at some point.I stand corrected,congrats Tippster good job.And I apologize Jizzer.

Now I don't wanna look like a even bigger idiot then I already do but if a teams record is say 2-0-1,wouldnt their winning percentage be 1.000,cause it really couldnt be .666 cause then the tie is just like a loss?

 Again..according to the covers survivor rules, if someone has a push you would add 0.5 to their wins total.  So 2.5 / by 3 picks is 83.3%. Only 3-0-0 is 100%.  2-1-0 is 66%. 

I've never thought so much about ties and winning %.Probably cause the only ties in American sports is pro football,used to be in college football,and used to be in hockey.And hockey scoring was 2 pts for a win,1 pt for a tie,and everybody played the same amount of games and the standings werent determined by winning %'s,but by points.College football ties didnt mean anything,cause it was all about the rankings,besides trying to win your conference.I guess the situation can only get tricky if everyone isnt playing the same amount of games.Otherwise its pretty easy to see who would be ahead.

Anybody know how long you have to wait before Covers Team contacts you regarding the monthly $1000 survivor prize?

Last month after I reached 9 straight survivor wins I received an email the following morning regarding my hat prize and confirming my address, etc.
