Why does the pick you make has to be final? Why can't you change it?

because lines change throughout the day/week.

This is a contest and picking games at certain lines is part of it.

Well the line you pick the game at isn't always the line you get. If the line changes before the game starts you get the new line. It has happened to me a few times including today. Tor/Phi O/U was 228 when I picked early but at game time it dropped to 227.5 and thats what I now have.
