Cashing a big fat check

This is mostly directed towards Tuppy, but when you get a check for $100,000 from this site how do you go about cashing it?  You have to pay taxes right?  And then does the government investigate the bank account for illegal online wagering?

I was living in Canada thus i payed no taxes. I put it in the bank and it took a few weeks to clear. This ia a contest you are not betting!!

I know we're not betting here, but most of us on this site have internet accounts, and from what i understand if you deposit a check over $10,000 in the US the government looks into it

I am Canadian so i have no idea what your country does . I would assume you would have to pay taxes on it.

Toronto, is the cleanist city I have ever been to, if you drop your sandwich on the street or sidewalk, you can pick it up and keep eating it, try doing that in NY or Philly, I don't think so. "HOW" you ask, that's because every night a crew with a street cleaners goes through the whole city picking up all the trash and cigarette butts ! OH by the way paying taxes is a crime, and my goverment should be arrested for it. lol

ok but if you win on this contest its legal..... its just llike on espn... if you get the 100,000 prize espn pays it to you.... you pay taxes but its legal... so its legal to win in a contest

It is a contest not gambling.  You would have to pay taxes on it.  If I was you I would worry about picking 20 in a row at least before you start cashing that check..
