Disappointing Loss

Today by the Pirates. I was making an little bit of an run on streak survivor after an terrible 2-7 start, got to 5-7, was hoping to win rest of month for 23-7 W21, now can only hope for 22-8 W17. There best hitters should of been in the lineup, unacceptable to have Mccutchen, Gonzalez and Connor Joe all be off on same day. Was like your forfeiting the game to st louis even with an good pitcher pitching. Terrible management by Shelton. Your three best hitters should of been in the lineup over Triolo, Suwinski and Olivares  and or at least pinch hit. No wonder pirates have lost six straight rubber matches cause there best hitters in those games always get the third game of series off. Pirates have an pretty easy schedule to finish June other than at Atlanta to end month. If pirates aren't at or above 500 by the end of june Shelton should be fired.

 Never understood extra innings. Guy on 2nd base...and their swinging to the fences. End up getting 3 outs. Bunt the guy to third...sacrifice pop for the lead. How hard is that ? If you can't do that every time , you suck

 Case in point....Seattle Mariners tonight. Down a run in the 10th.....guy on 2nd base. ..no outs..3 pop flies to center and they lose 3-2...Dah ??? I don't get it. Sure..I'm pissed cause I had over 6  1/2...but that's not the point . Just Junior High baseball.

Pirates should of bunted more versus Lance Lynn, he can't field and is out of shape, we should of scored more than 3 runs off of him, ball hits off his foot and he tumbles over throwing the ball to first. They should of bunted more between catcher and pitcher and made Lynn field more, and also Taylor should of ran and tried to steal bases in 7th runner on first no outs get something going steal bases maybe an errant bad throw and or bad pitch happens instead of getting stranded at first all inning. Also Pirates hitters should of adjusted more to almost every pitch by Lance Lynn being an fastball.
