Does your streak continue in new year?

The rules say the game runs from January 1st through December 31st.  Does your streak reset beginning in the new year or does it continue?  Anyone know the answer to this question?

does this survivor thing end once the new year begins or will they do it again for 2010?

are you sure that it resets because i dont think they reset them last year, and they changed the amounts like in february last year but they didnt reset them i dont think

so then your streak can continue on january 1st it wont reset to 0 your saying

ok so say i have 6 now at the end of the year, then if next year i get this streak to 21 or 25 do i stil win the money then

The rules say:

  • This is a Contest where entrants are rewarded for making consecutive correct selections of winners of specified sporting events. Prizes will be awarded for 21 consecutive correct picks, 17 consecutive correct picks, 13 consecutive correct picks, 9 consecutive correct picks and 7 consecutive correct picks. Entrants will have one calendar year to reach the prize levels.

    • Doesn't really state whether or not your streak will roll over into the new year.......

    The streak continues  but like i said earlier the prizes may change.

    I could be mistaken, but my understanding seems to be that you have one year from the day that you sign up in order to get the streak. I could be wrong, though, as I have only been here for two or three weeks.

    That assumption is incorrect...it is an ongoing contest ( at least it has been for as long as i have been on ) although prizes may change

    i think the 1 calander yr rule means we have 365days to reach a streak prize level. if i made 1 pick a week and won  my1st three weeks and then my picks all tied for 49 weeks i would have to start my streak at zero.
