First of all, let me say that I am not trying to create any controversy or anything. It seems to me that it has regularly happened where certain games are missing from the Survivor picks board. It also seems to happen when someone gets close to winning the 100K. It also seems to be the picks that stick out as the really 'good plays' if there is such a thing. Tuppy made a post last night that he already knew what his 21st pick was going to be for today and he regularly posts his pick early. I am almost certain that his pick is going to be either Detroit or Phoenix in the NBA but, surprise surprise, those games are not available, at least not yet. You can make those picks in the regular NBA picks contest so there is no reason that they should not be available in the Survivor contest. It's not like the games have been pulled off the board for whatever reason (injuries, etc) which is understandable. I would like someone from Wagerline to explain why games quite often are missing in Survivor when they are still open and available for picks in the regular contest. Has anyone else noticed this? I am just curious on others feedback and thoughts about this. I know that sometimes they come available later in the day but some of us cannot sit around and check all day long if the game they want to play has come available. Picking 21 in a row is quite a feat in itself without having to overcome issues like these, unless of course there is good reason why the games are not there. Sorry for the long post.

I dunno man, I remember seeing some NFL sundays with only one or two games being listed. I'm not 100% sure what the contest rules are, but it seems like there are the normal number of choices avaliable.
I personally think you just notice it more when soneone gets hot.

Wagerline-Team explained it in the forum yesterday. In my words it's like when a game gets to "unbalanced" for one side (like 60/40 of the picks) then they close it. Find the topic, it's from yestarday and it has the official version of W/T.

It's their money they are giving away FREE...they can and should make the games available to pick from that they want to when someone starts getting close. Do you have 100,000 that YOU want to give away?

You could have picked Detroit -2 last night at 11:00 pm CST, but at 11:02 pm that game was off the board.||angry never to return ||angry.gif' border=0>

I know its their money but they shouldn't take us for granted because there would be no wagerline if it wasn't for us people betting. They need us as much as we need them.||Peace_5.gif' border=0>

I understand the contest is free and no I do not have 100K sitting around to give away. That's not the point, I am not putting on the contest. FYI, it's not Wagerline's money either, it's Bodog who is sponsoring the contest and 100K to them is pocket change to everybody else.
In response to your comment about Wagerline making the rules. Yes, they should make the rules as it is their contest but the rules need to be set forth and constant. You can't change the rules as the game goes on! If they really don't want anyone to win and don't have games available as someone gets close then what is the point of having the contest in the first place!

When did I ever mention anything about games with moneylines -330. That's never been an issue as those games have never been available for Survivor picks. I'm talking about the games that are normally available (dogs, even money, and low favorites) that seem to be missing at times.
I don't think it would be as easy as you think to pick 21 in a row even if -330 games were available!

The rules were easier before wagerline was bought in late 2005 or 2006 (dont remember clearly). Back then they didn't have the 100K either (10K was the maximum, and by the way only one guy got it).
I have told the wagerline team how greatful I am. I think they put a real effort to have this website going. I personally think it's great and generous. I have got a couple of prizes and it feels very rewarding. But at the same time, I agree that the rules should be set from the begining and they should be followed.

I wouldn't say that it is their money....I am sure that they have a vested interest in betting against the streaks....I cant wait for tuppy pick so I can lay the mortgage against him...odds are in my favor...good luck tup, but if when you come up short, I'll let you stay at my pad in Vegas for free 1 night.

If Bodogs not involved in the money, then why is it taking them sooo long to payout?? In case they have to shell out $100000? Hmmmmmm...||confused.gif' border=0>||moneybag.gif' border=0>
