Covers is always good for the check and you will get paid... but i have to say. for someone who has never won anything from covers, it can be hard to not think you're not going to get paid... and or are getting the run around.
You say you agree with Lou... be patient... but can you see how one might think they might not get paid? Really... what takes two months? How can the holidays hold things up that much? Maybe it's just me... but I think having to wait two months for a check is a bit too long, and I'm sure the covers team must get alot of complaints... does it reall take two months to issue a check?
If you used a sportsbook that took that long to issue you a check... and were told... "just be patient" would you wonder about getting paid and or be patient... and continue to use them?
Don't get me wrong.. I love this site... best out there, but two months to get a check seems like an awful long time to me.
Your right... but I know Lou has got to be sick of getting emails, the "office" must get sick of the phone calls... I don't know, like I said before... just seems like a long time. If i was running the show here... I would want to see threads like " I got my check in 8 days...Covers is the best!" " Took only two weeks for my check to get to my door... thanks Covers" NOT the same threads and same complaints we see here all the time. even though this and all the rest are "free contests" people are still leary about playing and wasting their time when they see some of the threads about not getting paid and or having to wait so long. But who am I... nobody... and really don't know all that's involved in getting these checks to the winners, but I do know Covers would benefit much more if they got them to the winners much faster. Covers too must have to wait for their sponsors money... i'm sure, and I'm sure this is part of the problem.
