Congrats on win 17 and good luck on 18 tomorrow UNC -8
Looks as though he made a bad pick. Most all the money was going on Syracuse at +8.\

Okay, a risky pick though. I was very surprised, even shocked at his selection and said to myself "Good luck buddy; there's no way I'm taking that" with money all going the other way.

There is no risky pick when the person has reached 17 wins in a row, you don't question them after they lose on the 18th pick.
Why not question their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th pick? I'm sure they had picks that had the same feeling along the way but they still won....LOL.
It's difficult to even get 4 in a row, let alone 17....a lot of luck has to happen to get on the Covers Survivor pick All Star Wall of Fame.
Been on this site since the wagerline days and man, the streaks that some people went on with even to low odds (you can't even pick high fave MLs or half time betting)....? I'm not sure if it's luck or knowing where to get an edge, because the house always wins and the lines are THIN.

If betting against the public was that simple, we'd all be billionaires over and over.
Why don't you post your plays on here where you go against the public money, keep track of your record, and we'll see how easy it is?
I've been doing this recreationally the last 17 years and have only started to get more serious the last 3 when they legalized betting here in Ontario. I stay in my lane, use sound bankroll management, build up my bankroll and roll it over and only stick to MLB / NHL MLs with 1 - 2 plays a day, and I'm winning more money now instead of breaking even all those years, and not going on long losing streaks. An extra $500 a month with $20 / $30 daily betting? In this economy, I'll take it....I'm not greedy because I know this can all go south very quickly and I'm playing with house money. I'm in Year 3 of an 8 year plan to get a larger bankroll of around 40 - 50K. Being conservative, I'm hopeful in the end I can make an extra 1 - 2K a month and be a little more comfortable.
