On Saturday, July 2 I THOUGHT I played Balt/Minn under 9, which hit. However, it didn't show up, so I can only guess I forgot to hit submit or something. I wrote it down on a little sheet of paper I keep picks and bets on, thinking I had done it.
On Sunday, July 3, my first choice was the Mets vs the Rangers, which was not grayed out, but as we all know, that doesn't always mean you can choose it. Too many people had picked it so it was rejected. I went with the Blue Jays vs the Rays instead, which lost. (The Mets, my original choice, did win).
Since then I have hit 10 in a row. I'm on Tampa tonight.
So I am just a couple mistakes -- stupidly somehow forgetting to hit submit, and making a bad second choice after my first choice was rejected, away from having a $1000 streak.
Well, it isn't supposed to be easy. I'm on Tampa tonight, that would put me at 11, one short of my highest ever, and two short of my first hoody. If I get a few more and shit starts getting real I'll have to make a decision between being choosy and skipping some days to maximize my chances to keep the streak going, or continuing to pick every day to compete for the monthly $1000.

I had a streak of 6 through July 1.

Once on the Fall Race I was doing crappy. Wrote my chances off. Forgot to make my picks a couple times. Who cared. Then I went on a hot streak and finished near the top. If I had not forgotten to make those picks... Ouch. I miss the Fall Race.
