I know about the horriable play from Oakland last week and It was hard for me to watch, but I really hope they can leave that loss in the past and move forward to the Kansas City Chiefs this week.
For the Raiders to get over the 19-62 losing streak they MUST ask themselves "How bad to we really want to win." It seems like they just play to get a pay check, but where's the love of the game? Whatever happen to giving it your all on every play? Playing as if it were your last game because tomorrow's not promised. If the Raiders want to move on and not look back it's going to start with passion and that's something they don't have.
Let's think about it for a second if we look at the Raiders roster you would think they could be a .500 team atleast. It's not that they don't have any talent it's because of coaching and if the players are actually buying into the schemes, but above all of that the REAL issue is AL DAVIS. The old guy is living in his glory days and he fails to understand that time has changed. Players are smarter, faster, stronger compared to playing in the 50's and 60's (there are some exceptions) what worked back then isn't working now.
Overall every player has a job to do and everyone must have that team chemistry and trust that the guy next to him can do what they are suspose to do. I really hope Oakland just had a bad night and can turn this thing around. You have no idea how bad I want the Raiders to be back on top again.
