Why some players are offered certain games,and others aint

Question

Im just wondering why some people are able to pick certain games,and other people are never offered the chance to pick the same game.Case in point Columbus tonight,that games was never offered as a selection in my choices to pick,but yet I see one guy close to the top ten this month,has them as a selection.And that isn&#x27;t the only time ive seen this happen.If your gonna offer the selections of certain teams to some players,isnt it fair if everyone gets the same chance to select the same game.

Its not that "some people" get certain games and you don't. From my experience, sometimes it has to do purely with timing and sometimes its the screen you look at or whether you are on a computer vs your phone.

I've had games not allow picks and then refresh 5 minutes later (or come back a couple of hours later) and the pick is available. I've clicked on the "make picks" option in Streak Survivor and not have a game I wanted be available but if I go into the matchup page for that particular game I am able to pick it. I've even had games not be available on my phone but is available on my computer.

It doesn't make sense that it works the way it does sometimes and I do wish someone would fix it, but it is what it is.

Maybe I didn&#x27;t clarify exactly what I meant,i don&#x27;t think covers is purposely not letting just me in particular not bet on certain games.But it is that "some people"are offered certain games,and some aren&#x27;t,you said it yourself "sometimes its the screen you look at,or whether you are on a computer vs your phone".It shouldn&#x27;t matter if your on a phone or computer,everyone should be offered the same games as everyone else.

It goes by a couple of different things. First, if too many people get on one side of a game, then the game is taken off, or not available to others, so in that case, it is an early bird catches the worm type of thing. Once game is taken off, if a line movement is made, that game can reappear again until more bet on the same side and it is taken down again, therefore that being just a timing type of thing.

i have watched my friend pick something, he logged off and i logged on to pick the same thing, and it said "covers consensus cant pick" (sometimes it just goes away too) and i sat there clicking over and over until it accepted, so i think it changes very often

I know,that&#x27;s gotta be extremely aggravating also.I was just mad because I had a lot of time yesterday,and loved Columbus,so all day long I have to keep checking in with covers to see if Columbus is available to pick,the Penquins game is the same odds -120 and same consensus %,and that game is available all day long.And you know what,that is what it is,and im alright with that,but then after checking it all day long and it never being available, to see later on that night that other people were allowed to pick the Columbus game,its just aggravating.Either let everybody get a chance to pick that team,or don&#x27;t let no one pick that team.

Computer driven..no one sitting around deciding who gets to pick a game and who doesn&#x27;t. Games will be available...then be gone....then be available again sometimes. It is a timing thing and not predictable. Look at it this way...you may have a pick in on a team and someone else may want it and not be able to get their pick in..It has always been this way on covers...again free money contest...THEIR contest.

my only thought is that it talks about consensus in the rules and over 60% or 70% causes the game to leave. For the game to reappear someone or a bunch of someones would have to choose the other side for their streak survivor to balance it out. That is probably why because their are probably people camping out til they get their game back and cause the percentage to go back up in a short period of time. Anything possible tho
