1k to 70k in 12 months - it's possible?

Here in Brazil there are many people who believe it is possible.

Context: the Brazilian betting market is the most ridiculous in the world. Here it is full of influencers who talk about sports betting. They are not real bettors, nor oddsmakers, but rather people who have many followers (twitter, Instagram) and who talk about betting. These influencers make a lot of money selling betting tips on bet builder, lol. 

There was a discussion this week that it was possible to make 70k from 1k. An influencer proposed 500+ against -500 with another influencer who would be able to complete the challenge. The one who received 6.0 simply refused.

Why?

Here, "chasing" means something different than in the USA. Here, is chasing the fall of an odd.
For example.
There was a big drop at Pinnacle, so this bettor would bet on this drop at Bet365 or any other bookie. This was the reason that the influencer who had +500 refused LOL

Yes possible but a lot of luck.

I did this when i first started betting.

Started with $1000 betting/chasing 10% bets at -150odds compounding.

which was way to much but the system went like 80-0 that year just in NBA.

1 loss would of killed my bank, i was lucky.

At one time I had several series playing at once and had so much of my bank

tied into these, i couldn't bet them all at once, had to have on "win" to be able 

and cover next bet. The off shore site offered if bets and I used those a lot and a

few game 3/last game parlays because i couldn't cover the bet for both.

lucky they all won.
