I'm pretty new to sports betting and wanted to share my betting strategy that seems to working so far. At first I fell into the traps that most newbs do. You name it, trying to win big every day, multiple game parlays, chasing, betting too many games, etc... but finally learned that slow and steady wins the race.
On any given day I 'cap the entire day's card across multiple sports attemping to find 2 to 3 solid plays. From those, I choose a play of the day and use that game as a key. Here is the betting strategy I then put in place:
Bet 1 - Single Bet Game 1 (key) - 1 unit
Bet 2 - Parlay Game 1 (key) + Game 2 - 0.4 units
Bet 3 - Parlay Game 1 (key) + Game 3 - 0.4 units OR Game 2 + Game 3 - 0.4 units
If I only find 2 games to play, I will only put in the first 2 bets.
If I only find 1 game to play, I will only put in the first bet.
If I really like a particular day's card I may double the number of units in each bet.
I figure if I only win my key bet, I make a little money (depending on the juice) and if I get lucky and get 2 or 3 right, it's a pretty good day.
What do you guys think? By no means is this a quick money maker, but I've slowly been building my bank roll so it seems to be working!
Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

I dont like to parlay a game that I already bet on a single, I would put 1unit in game 2 and another in game3 if a pick as value there is no point in betting less that one unit.
