Just wondering if anyone has any simple, yet profitable, MLB strategies that require a minimal amount of time to cap that they would be willing to share?
I've found out that some simple strategies that I've come up with are just as profitable as strategies that take me an hour or more to cap. I'm getting a bit tired of wasting time trying to find a quality strategy when something that takes a few minutes seems to be working just as good.
An example of one I do is, print off the MLB covers print sheet each day and simply parlay the two starting pitchers that have the most K's in their last 5 outings. I do this as a chase and it seems to hit within a few days.
Another one I do is bet against the lowest ranked team on Statfox.com for each new series. (It's a 3~4 game chase.) Currently Philadelphia is the lowest ranked and I don't think they've swept a series all season thus far. This one is also very simple and has worked well for me.
(I'm not trying to promote the above strategies in anyway, just giving some examples of how simple and not so time consuming they both are.)
If anyone has tried some similar type strategies that they'd like to share, I would like to try them out or at least back test them first if possible.
Thanks

At this point in the season your focus should be on [1st 5 Innings] exclusively, Lippsman brings a strong debate to the forefront in regards to the bullpen. as far as chasing games is concerned, (especially with only 5 series left to play) forget about it...winning on a ratio of 1:6 1:4 does little to increase your BR other than cover your yearly wagering expenditure, and attaching $10 units to the chase system of your choice, which in return will take you nowhere (ROI) financially...baseball is far from simple, and highly unpredictable, handicapping as in all sports is the key, even then with baseball in particular you have 'miracle' results, ever hear of the value of the (reverse) Run Line? hits everyday, sometimes 3, 4 times; bottom line: stick with FFI wagers, focus on Starting Pitchers, it's that time of the year. have a rewarding 'regular' (ending) season
