Here's a different way to look at it.
I was following something along the lines to what Snappa posted. I would not risk more than 2.5% of your total bank on any one wager, and no more than 10% on any day. After I was up about 25%, I lowered the single wager to 2%.
You are risking a similar dollar amount but I think this helps you to preserve what you have already won.
