I keep hearing about Betfair and automated robots for example Auto Betting Monster? Rebel Betting? Is there any validity to these types of systems? It seems to easy therefore I don't believe it to be true.

All the credible sites know when you're using one and will kick you out very quickly... If you find a site that lets you snipe prices, then by all means, snipe while you can.
Any program will do, they're all very similar. You just set prices and the program puts the bets in for you at those prices giving you a middle.
