I haven't missed a Bruins game in years. What I have noticed is that ever since Claude Julien took over as coach in 2007 is he has done a tremendous job preparing the team the next game after a loss and The Bruins pretty much never go on extended losing streaks under Julien. I did the research and came up with some numbers to back up my observation. If you started a 3 game chase after every Bruins two game losing streak, you would have a 21-1 record (11-1 in 2007/2008, 10-0 last season) which would be a nice profit. I see no reason why this shouldn't continue this season.

p.s They were dogs more often than not in 2007/2008, so even the one loss that would of occurred with the system that season definitely wouldn't of been a bank breaker.

I know what you mean, i chase .500 teams all the time for wins, played the Leafs all season last year and made a profit. Ya they go on lossing streaks but your not wagering high on a 4 or 5 game chase, and when you do catch 2 or 3 wins in a row its a nice profit.(1.90- 2.50)

Ok....... But........ Last year was perfect.......... That was last year Don't know about that one series loss 2 years ago and how many units that cost But it doesn't guarantee profits this year. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate it in you bringing this up but my point is I remember late last year their offense hit a speed bump and they went on a slide. Those lines were very juicy too wich is why I caution this chase of 3 when you can have lines of ML -150 to -370. But they did win at the end of the day Haha... Set aside from being a Flyers fan, I wish you the best in your travels and good insight for noticing and backtesting this trend.

True. There are no guarentee's in gambling. But like all similar systems you see on here, they are relying probability and trends to know when to start a 3 game chase. and I post this because I believe it to be a trend more so than a coincidence. Claude Julien has a reputation as a coach of avoiding extended losing streaks even going back to when he was coaching Montreal and New Jersey.

If they are at home you may get lines between -150 and -220 or so if they are playing teams well below them. But I am sure plenty of those games you would play with this system will be away games meaning you are likely to get a dog line or small favorite at worst. So a loss with this system will be far less disastrous than lets say a loss with JM's NBA system where you are laying -170 on A, B, & C.
Also, in reference to the 1 loss that did occur two seasons ago. I remember that losing streak clearly, half their team was injured at the time so I am sure they were probbaly big dogs for the A, B, & C games so I am sure the loss in terms of units was pretty minimal and the system still would of pulled in a good profit on the season as a whole.

Great idea to find undervalued teams in the nhl. You can grind out profit this way.
