Have used a lot of systems in the pas tfew years now and I have 1 conclusion so far: No system can be used in sportsbetting without capping the games. No one can use an ABC system in NBA because you don't know what the total or spread will be the next game. The money line in NHL is waaaaaay to huge. So that leaves me with my conclusion betting on 5 or so / day and use a % of bankroll that depends of the trust in your selections.
Can someone tell me I'm wrong and that there IS a usefull system or systems in sports betting land out there??

I don't think you can discount trends that have worked for season after season. Use them as another tool in your capping tool box and watch for changes in the trend. But don't ignore a trend that is like 75-7 over the past 5 years or whatever. And they do exist...but use mon. mgmt. with them--don't bet the farm on ANYTHING, no matter how strong a trend or system. And don't be an action junkie like I became, making 30-40 wagers/day instead of making 3,4 or even ten as long as they are picks you are confident with. Anyway, no more rambling---just my 4cents.
