System Basis: Playing home underdogs in conference getting at least 4pts.
System Parameters:
Home team must have a better then .500 record at home
Road team must have a sub .500 record on the road (neutral site games not taken into account)
Home teams RPI and NPI must be either better or within 100 spots of the road teams
NPI = www.warrennolan.com – certainly not an advertisement for the site but I like the data it provides and the daily update of both the RPI and his own statistical system
Chase System: I am going to use this strategy in a chase system format per conference. For example a game qualifies in the A10 and the result is a loss I am going to double the wager when another game in that conference qualifies. Not necessarily the next game that qualifies. So I will have multiple chases at the same time but only one per conference.
For my sanity sake I am only going to follow what I consider the major conferences (Big East, Big Ten, Big 12, ACC, Pac 10, SEC, Conf. USA, A10, and Mountain West).
If there are multiple games in the same conference that qualify and are at the same time I am taking the game where the home team has the best or closest RPI/NPI to their opponent. That way I only have one chase going per conference.
Hope this makes sense and hope this is successful.
