I tinker with many variables in NBA scoring. Have tried many ways and have a simple system that has an excellent return...
"Play on any team vs. an opponent that scored < \ = 85 points in their last game".

Record TY = 70-38 SU (.648)

2 games today... play on Utah & San Antonio
1 game Friday... play on Houston

been about a 50/50 spot ats and s/u since 1995 .at about 60% ats this year..and 63.8% s/u .
