I've been sportsbetting pretty seriously for about 6 months now. As in, really researching the games I bet and trying to make smart bets etc..
I play with a pretty small amount of money, because I don't really have the cash to be blowing on gambling right now. But it is a fun hobby for me and I can justify the amount I've lost on it.
My deposits are 100$ and I nearly always take it to 300-400$. But this amount has become a plateau for me. Each time I triple my bankroll, I hover around that number for a bit and usually start to lose it until my bankroll is depleted.
When i see a game I really like, I'll make my next deposit and take it back up, only to have the same thing happen to me.
How do you guys make it over this hump? I've just hit 400 and I'm really hoping to keep things in the + this time. Any good betting strategies, money management techniques, any type of advice you think might help, would be appreciated.
Thanks all.

Ok here we go 1. What Money Management do you use? 2. What types of plays do you mostly play (straight bets, pars, teasers etc...) 3. Do you prefer spot plays or are you a systems kinda guy?
if your answer to question 1 was Whats money management? CHASE TILL I DIE DUH! please find and read the Lab Money Management system. Its somewhere on this website trust me.
for question 2 your answer should be straight bets. I am not saying you cant win with teaser or parlays but the majority of your income should be coming from straight bets of some sort.
and the last question is a trick question the answers both!
but being serious for a second there is a lot of information on this forums just take some time to read the posts. BOL

1. I haven't read the Lab Money Management system, but I will definitely find it and read it. (Thank you, this is the kind of advice/direction I was looking for)
2. Mostly straight bets. I do play parlays though. I've been very successful in my baseball parlays this postseason. Side + O/U in one game. I could afford to lessen my football parlays though. They always just look so damn appealing but I understand they are not always sound bets.
Thanks for the response. I have spent a lot of time reading all I can on these forums. For some reason never came across this lab system and am having a hard time finding it right now...
