I have only done this for two games this year and have hit the middle in 2 of 3 bets.
First game was thurs night college football. ku vs so miss. I took the under to start the game cant remember like 50. then midway through second took the over like 43 (dont remember the numbers exactly) but it hit with the total of 47.
Last night to start the game (dont follow the nfl except for fantasy) so with no research I just took the niners +6.5 and under 44.5. waited until the third quarter and was able to get Over 34. Then the niners scored and the line went to niners -2 (should have taken saints +2 right there) but i waited and luckily right before saints scored commercial break came and I was able to get the saints -120 ml.
so i had U 44.5 O 34 , SF +6.5 NO ml -120
final was NO 25 SF22 hit one of two middles and if they wouldnt have overturned the 2 point conversion would have hit both. still went 3-1 though, and counting the ku game I am 5-1 trying this.
(You could have also taken the saints at -4.5 then when they scored to go up 9 in the first quarter the you could have gotten niners +10.5, would have not hit it, also the o/u was like 49 at that point. but just shows that almost no matter what the first bet is you should be able at some point in the game to get a decent middle opportunity)
very small sample size but I have liked my results so far.

took smu +20 and under 56 to start the game. at half took tcu -14 (should have taken over 51 but didnt) Tcu won by 17 so middle hit, and never had a chance to by back the under after half, so i lost that. still went 2-1
Hopefully this can keep up, also could have done this with the over under in last nights miami pitt game and would have hit the middle.

This is the way to play. Hit those middles.
