I have a question about Line Movement...is it because of the Public betting dumping $$$ that causes the line movement?what if the the public keeps dumping and then the line doesnt move?

JOE public can hurt you or help you both ways !&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;by hiiting the chalk too hard or by biting the dog too much  dosent happen often but it happens and you can get a middle to win both sides  when spreads are moved 1.5  to 2.5 points also watch &#xD;&#xA;money lines when spread is held at 3  if you see it early at -3  &#x2B;110  and &#x2B; 3 - 120  then it goes -3 -120  and &#x2B; 3 points  &#x2B;100 &#xD;&#xA;(sports books do this not vegas  they always have -110 on every spread )&#xD;&#xA;something shows that the favorite was bet heavier  and they want you to take 3 points  at &#x2B; money  and the moneyline mones to &#x2B;135 or &#x2B;140 on the 3 pt dog  or no movement on money line  like it stays at &#x2B;125  or &#x2B;130  on road dog  &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;i know it&#x27;s confusing i was trying to figure it out when told to me by close friend Jimmy  who is a pro bettor  took me a month to figure out what he the f*&amp;^%  he was talking about LOL

The assumption is that sportbooks want equal money on both sides.  So that if excess money is on the favourite, then the line is adjusted to make the underdog more attractive.  If the line doesn&#x27;t change despite excess public betting, then the belief is that a minority is heavily backing the opposite side.
