I haven't been around much lately stuck in my dungeon so to speak working some systems for the NHL
They both rely on the team's individual winning %'s
So far things seem promising but nothing to write home about
Since I suck at computers I am unable to back test with all the
arithmetic involved so I am only tracking currently for the past week
or so
One is a based off similar calculations with an NBA ML system I will bring to the table with in a few more weeks
Just need more gms to be played for more accurate data to get that system going
Another is based off a system I came up on that stated it worked best in MLB but can be used in other sports too
Now the NBA system is proven to bring home the bacon but this other MLB system I have no idea about
I have been tracking NHL plays based off these 2 different systems
Now here is the conundrum.......
I have been including OT losses with my calculations to be conservative with these systems
Have gotten a few if not several plays a night which seems adequate enough with some good results
Taking out the OT losses in my calculations could give me more plays but would they be as profitable???
Well starting tomorrow I will try both versions to see
I NHL they don't count OT losses with winning %'s do they??????
If only that counted on our wagers too - hahahaha
Meaning in certain instances OT losses do not count for calculating winning %'s
Here is the question.............
What do you think about this
Would it be an idea to not include OT losses into my calculations
The goal would then be to risk or win each play for 2 units
Then to hedge them with risking 1 unit on the draw play just in case
