With all this MLB chasing going on, I've seen some guys here start NBA chase systems. I don't know how well they do but it seems for the most part it's hard to really use chase systems in basketball.
I'm trying to develop a quarter chase system. So you would find a game with a considerable gap in the ratings of the team, aka a good team vs a bad team. Then you would play the better team ML for the first quarter and if you win, stop. If you lose, keep playing each quarter individually until they win one.
I've looked through about 20-30 games from this season and it seems to hold true that the better team will outscore the worse team at least once in the quarter.
I'm going to backtest it for this season and the 2010-2011 season and try to develop a few filters possibly having something to do with overall rating, RPI (credit to Bettor2Win) and win percentage.
If anyone has any thoughts on this or wants to help and research this method, let me know.
Also, if anyone has any ideas for filters and conditions when picking teams feel free to reply back.

Yea that is really the only problem I found. I was looking around and I'm pretty sure Bet365 takes quarter bets. There has to be at least one book that would allow you to do this.
