I have a decent predictor of season wins in the NBA. It is similar to one i use for the NFL but in the NFL i create a statisitical probability and somewhat revert that number to the mean of 8 wins. The NFL is built to force teams to an average number of wins with the draft and the cap and whatever. This revertionary force must be taken into account in the NFL. Do you guys think the NBA is built that way or does a force pushing you toward an avergae season exist in the NBA?
Data would be appreiciated if anyone has it, thanks in adavnce
