I have a question on this potential system, it seems too easy to make money so I am going to see what I am missing... Lets use Vancouver as an example:
Lets say you bet $100 for vancouver to win the west, it will pay $365
Then you hedge by betting chicago to beat vancouver (costs $140 to win $100) then we are even if chicago wins.
If vancouver beats chicago then we will still win $225 if vancouver beats either SJ or Detroit next. You bet on SJ or Detroit over vancouver, estimate that at an absolute maximum of $200 to win back $100. which means you would be guaranteed to win about $25 or so or at the worst you break even.
Am I missing something here?
