NHL Small Underdogs

Many of us have been on the roller-coaster that is the 2 Strongest Road Favorites Parlay.  I believe part of DanRules' reasoning behind the system is that the parlay of two favorites usually produces a positive Moneyline.  Why not play one team with a similar, small, positive Moneyline?  I have had success on my own with this so here goes. 

The Rules:

1) Moneyline Underdogs between

+101 and +115

2) Two separate columns, Home and Road

3) The betting sequence

1x 2x 3.5x 7x 14x = 27.5x

I am using $3 units so a system loss will be $82.50

Just got home. The game was on at the bar. StL wins in the 3rd period.  Off to a good start.  

I use Bovada so other books may be a bit different. I see four games for tomorrow. The odds could change. Not everyone will have the same plays. I mostly want to show that this should work based on my past success. This "System" is about two things, the odds and the betting sequence.

 Since you have had success before I'll ride along with you. I always thought Nevada had favorable odds for dogs....I was surprised I got a little better at my local. Good luck on the plays

 Thanks for the vote of confidence. I feel like I am sticking my neck out a bit.  I am not worried though, math is with us. If every game was +105, there is a 96.5% of winning 1 out of 5. At +115 there is a 95.6% of winning 1 out of 5.  Also, if a losing streak starts, I might re-arrange the debt a bit so the bets aren't so high.

 How do you like Bovada  any issues. I use a local and live in Florida, we are supposed to get State sporstbook soon. I THINK I'll post up and try it.

 I like Bovada. I signed up with them because it is big and safe. Also, it is nice that I can wager on just about everything.  I try not to look around and see the better lines I am missing out on.

 Yep - so far so good.  I fund my account with Bitcoin.  The transfer is instant.  Any wait involves transferring the Bitcoin to cash but that doesn't involve Bovada.

I found 3 games that match the criteria for today.  The lines are moving all over the place, however, I noticed Pit is currently at +130.  When I placed my bet they were at +110.  To anyone trailing - it is more important that the odds are within + 101 - + 115 than to have the same teams as I do.  My results are just a guide.  Everyone will be a bit different.

I am not strict with my chases.  I try to avoid "C" and especially "D" games.  What I have done is used $6 from Pit and canceled Ott's loss.  The I distributed the rest across all the home chases.  All the home chases are on "B" Games.  If things get hairy, the profits from the Away column can be used to lower the Home sides losses.  One Away game today.

The Columbus win was nice.  I am going to use the $6.60 to erase two of the (2.80) debts.  That leaves $1 which will be the first winnings on the home side.  Furthermore, I am going to break up the remaining (2.80) to two separate chases.  These two chases will now be on "A" games. Also, I am going to raise the home side to $4 units.  Three games today

Not a great run the pat two days. My book is showing four away games.  I am going to clear out the (16.00) in away debt and make it four "A" games.  I mentioned earlier we won't all have the exact same plays.  Think of it like we are all at the beach, but we don't have the exact same board.

Nice.  Another round of losses would have sucked.  No plays today. I erased Boston's loss and added the rest of the winnings to the away column.

I am going to take a few days off.  Hockey is a bit new to me.  I literally only know the name of one active player - Alex Ovechkin.  (I do know the names of some of the greats)  I can't just jump in and follow the NHL every day until June.  It is like moving to a different country.  System is up a bit, you all know what to do and how it goes.  It is mostly about the odds and juggling debt.
