I have actually looked at this one for 2 or 3 years now. Ive played it at times, always with success but my heart isnt always into chasing.
Its a 6 TIME CHASE...... doubling down after each loss and stopping with a win..
When a team plays 5 straight Overs or Unders (it has to be 5), you begin to fade that streak with game 6.... You fade it for 6 consecutive times or until a win is achieved. In other words it will take an 11 game Over or Under streak to beat you. All PUSHES are thrown out.
This will work in the nba as well... I also believe it works with NHL Overs (only overs), although i dont have the numbers for the NHL.
I will post alot of past records for this streak (in this thread) over the next few days.. Ill start with this years MLB record.
MLB Over/Under System 2010: 75-0 (+75.00 units)
here is a little info about that record.... 30-0 for the AL, 45-0 for the NL. Longest streak 9 games. No team has reached a streak of 10 this season, as of now. the lines used are the closing lines at covers.
the cardinals just had a 9 game Over streak snapped yesterday at cincy. the dodgers have played a 9 game Over streak, earlier in the season. there have been several 9 game Under streaks this season.
current active streaks:
Fla is on a 6 game Over streak
Sea is on a 6 game Under streak
Oakland is on a current 9 game Under streak. So we will be fading oakland in their next game or 2... 2 more consecutive Unders by oakland would result in the years first loss. they are off tonight but play in minnesota on friday.
Ill try and post the plays in this thread and also post some more record for past MLB season, as well as records for the NBA and NHL Overs (fading Overs)...
2010 MLB O/U System: 75-0 (+75.00 units)
Fla Under
use the closing line at covers for results.. this is play 2 of the chase...
anyone else interested in this, feel free to track this along with me. a loss would equal to about 80 units, depending on juice layed along the way...
