Proper hedge method/strategy

Question

So please post a link or brief example (use mine) thanks.

I have a 4 team $50 to pay $460 with one leg left. MNF colts -2.5

What is the Logical way and how much do I hedge? I feel very confident with my play but want to obviously guarantee a win and turn a nice profit. ( my last 3 teamer was a soccer play that ended in a draw, I played it small enough to cover my initial wager but still was not thrilled with the outcome

Bet $55 on the Giants (assuming -110 juice).

If the Giants win you break even. You will win the $50 you lose from the original bet.

If Indy wins you are up $405 ($460 minus the $55 you bet on the Giants).

in the future don&#x27;t bother putting that last leg in. there is not point in putting a bet like that on otherwise.if something has changed since the bet was placed that could affect the game, then it may be wise to use the method above, but if you are going to run around hedging all your multibets you may as well be playing singles

Or, if you just want a nice profit, bet approx 250 on the NYG and you guarantee yourself a couple of hundred either way......GL.

You aren&#x27;t hedging unless the line moves.  What the OP is doing is buying back his bet because he is afraid of losing.  It is the same thing as betting both sides of a game and losing the juice.If you do parlays, make sure all the games finish around the same time.

I wouldn&#x27;t hedge. You are in a great spot to win $460 on just a $50 bet. Why give the book back some of your profits? Look at it this way, would you take Indy -2.5 to win $460 on a $50 bet? Yes, everyone would. That is the situation you are in right now.&#xD;&#xA;Just my opinion.
