Question for all system and strategy junkies!
play some systems for a few months and you will find out for yourself with your books reaction in regards to your wagering patterns.
the proof is in the pudding

Eagle, you are right about Matchbbok but you cant see Matchbook as a bookie since they are more of an exchange than a bookie. A regular bookie might, if you bet higher amounts, tell you to leave...have seen (and felt) this before...shouldnt suprise, but in the end you should definaltey be fine with Matchbook...and to come back to your question:
I think a lot of people here just think that they know the sports they are betting and that they will be better off with their knowledge...once you really think you are into something, you wont believe that a system can generate better returns than you...had quite some discussions with such people, its not worth the breatch to argue there...in the long run, those are the people paying your bills...so sit back and relax ![]()

Why is the number of people in the System and Strategy part of the forum so vastly less than the other sections of the forum that are dedicated to specific sports. Apparently people who wager like we do are in the vast minority. Also, I keep reading over and over about how Vegas loves system bettors and yada yada yada. The way I see it, if you stay disciplined and use strict money management principles you just about cant lose using solid systems. With that being said, you would think this section would be where everyone wants to be, but we are obviously the road less traveled. What gives? Am I nieve in my thinking? Or are they the ones who are the vast majority that keeps this a successful business for the books?
Agree with you. I have using chase systems for years and they have been very, very good to me.

Also, Eagle, chase systems have a bad rep which started hundreds of years ago with Mr. Martingale's system for casino games like roulette. But I think maybe a lot of people don't stop to think about using systems for sports where conditions are different,SHHH! Don't clue them in, OK?
The less they know the better for us ![]()

Just started using a system for baseball totals. Been going well so far and involves 0 capping skills. I guess a lot of people like the ego boost of picking winners rather than just sticking to a system. Can books really boot you out depending on your betting patterns?? I'm using pinnacle primarily btw.
