I notice all kinds of elaborate systems out there, but my question is...... why not just pick one MLB team that is -130 or higher that's playing at home, and put a 6 game chase on it. They rarely ever lose 3 games in a row, let alone 6. Does this simple system like this eventually go bad?

Example 6g chase, all games @-130, all games lost.

Most likely this doesn't happen, but if you followed your scenario religiously, it could. Therefore, systems and handicapping.

Chaser has a 6 game homestand system right now that he's running. go ahead and check out his thread in this forum. I personally will never do a chase system more than 3 game but everyone has their own preference and seems to work for some. My starting wagers are over $200 so it would add up to a huge sum very quickly..

Thanks for the calculations. If it's over -147 for only one loss, then that would wipe out the entire winnings. No wonder people don't chase the favorites without some type of capping to go with it.
