I've been looking at the sports betting professor's MLB system.
It is based off of betting percentages, and he suggests that you pay for the site "Sports Insight".
I don't want to have to pay for that site----
Are there any alternative sites that anybody knows of?
Sports Insight is not significantly profitable, and the SBP MLB plays are based on their consensus numbers. I would use caution as a major mistake made by many in their interpretation of betting trends is erroneous. That is, the public is not wrong all the time- in fact they are "right" most of the time. They are only wrong at major imbalances in money on certain games.
My research shows that 81% of the non-professional public has to be on one side against the remaining 19% professionals (who have 4X the average bet size) for there to be a significant edge betting the opposite way. This rarely occurs, so all betting strategies that attempt to use lesser numbers to forecast winners will not produce a decent number of units profit.
Bottom line: find another way to make money in MLB.
