I checked this since the beginning of the NBA season.
Chase for 3 games 1.Chase for an ATS win after 2 ATS loss or a loss after 2 ATS win. 2.Chase for a over after 2 under or an under after 2 over.
1. 36 wins - 3 loss (at 100$ per bet, 1121$ profits) A - 26 wins B - 7 wins C - 3 wins L - 3 2. 37 wins - 3 loss (1221$ profits) A - 25 wins B - 8 wins C - 4 wins L - 3
I checked to start the chase after 3 games instead and it gave me for ATS ( 11 wins - 1 loss for a 274$ profits) and over or under (14 wins - 0 loss for 1400$)
Is it possible for someone to backtest this for other years? I know some of you have faster ways to backtest this than me.
Also could it be worth it in college baskettball, hockey and baseball (over/under for the last 2)
Thanks GL to everyone

There will be times when team don't cover like 6 or more straight...thing is can your winnings provide you with enough to get back what you lose and still profit.....
Another thing is you could use labby, but there are so many series that will be in progress at once so that would be an issue....A way around that would be good...

I was just getting ready to post a very similar idea,99 but you beat me to it. I am using the 3 game loss/win, but with your numbers I may switch to a 2gm system. I'm using a fairly aggressive Lab. betting method with A, B and C lines, with each line base bet increasing 50% above the previous line. Also diverting 1/3 of each loss onto the line below. I don't have any research numbers on this, but I'm using this criteria as a filter: the ATS record must be within 20% either way of .500. So I'm looking for teams that have fairly equal ATS win/loss records, not teams that are heavy on one side. I have only just started using this and on NBA only, but may expand to NCAAB after a few more games are played. Not sure about NFL. If anyone has info on this type of a system, I hope you'll clue us in. GL 99. P.S. I am also playing this with 5$ unit size to test.
