Im still very new to this forum and the betting world in general. I joined this forum on august 8th of this season and promptly started posting plays. I lost 10 units rather quickly (-$1000) and realized that something had to be done.
My records were (all posted here at Covers)
MLB: 20-22 (-11.62 units)
NFLX: 5-3 (+1.60 units)
Overall: 25-25 (-10.02 units) (-$1002)
Now i am a semi-retired computer programmer. I thought that i had developed a program for sports wagering. The program, as you can see by the record, got off to an inauspicious start. I realized that i was giving no credence to money management. Probably the most important aspect, i was completely ignoring. Well, im a relative newbie what can i say.
To make a long story short, ive worked with my program alot over the past 4-5 days (no wagering or posting during that time) and worked on, what i believe, to be a dynamite money management system. It is not a chase system in any way, as the plays will still be generated from my program.
The plays will be multi-sport (thus the reason for posting in this forum) and will be played in a "one at a time" format to better utilize the money management aspect of this system.
I am here for one reason, to make money with these plays. Im not here to be the best capper, the best systems guy, im here to make money (bottom line) and to document it here at covers. I dont blog or tweet, just want to document it right here. Posting it somewhere would seem to keep one more accountable and disciplined.
Ill be back later today, with plays for wednesy aug 26 and to talk a little more about this.

Ok, there are only 2 day games for wednesday, i will have a play on one of them...
Im going to call this the (MM System), either for money making or money management, hopefully it will apply to both.
my career posting record at covers is located in first post of thread, i want to make that clear. I am new but want to be upfront. There will be no plays over (-1.30) in any sport.
MM System: 0-0 (+0.00 units) ($0)
play for wednesday aug 26
1. Cleveland Over 9.5 (-1.10) 1.10 units to win 1.00 units
listed pitchers only, back with a play for tonight.

Hot pick to start with the ATL Under.. was obviously the right call for anyone doing the Sabermetrics of the game.. Bad 0-2 to follow up with.. have 2 say I'm confused by the picks.. Sabermetrics did not play a part in these leans according to my own numbers.. but yet u had them as strong leans..
What went wrong?
Please start your own thread with this MM System, as it appears to not have a part in the Sabermetrics foundation of this thread. Nice try, to duplicate success, but please start new thread of a new breed of handicappin'.

My apologies, I had you confused with another poster I believe in the MLB System Releases Thread.. you did not, in fact, post the ATL under the other night, it was 'jpyahoo'
This means MM SYSTEM is 0-2 to start.. not an abnormal trend.. new System posts almost always have a rough 1st night, for whatever reason!
Try hard again Thursday, and bring to the table what you can. Regroup, and rebound.
