Trying out Teasers...Help?

So I tried my first teaser last night after looking at them for a while...turned out alright I had Purdue +0.5, Kansas-4, Atlanta Hawks +1

I was wondering if anyone had advice or rules they use for teasers...I've heard of never cross 0 (which I did with the Hawks) but was wondering if there is anything else?

Also, that was a 3team 7pointer...I see there are 4 or 5 points available for 2teamers...wondering if I should stick to one of those or if anyone has advice.

Is this a good thing to try for the long run??

From what I've read, you should really avoid teasers in basketball.  You gain no value by teasing.

However, due to the nature of scoring in football, you can sometimes get some value by crossing certain numbers, these being 3, 4, 6, 7 and 10.  And you should stick to two-team teasers.

But in short, no.  Don't tease.

Only tease in the NFL.  As Jimmy said you got to watch those key numbers and actually cap the game, don't just tease to cross the numbers.

I have made money in the NFL every year for the past 10 years, sans one teasing.  I have a thread every week for teasers and have been on a major tear on them for the past month.
