I promised that after I had a month's worth of plays I would re-evaluate the systems I follow. I'm still working on it and will post later tonight. The fact that I'm only posting two plays today would indicate that I'm cutting back. I haven't decided if these are spot or chase plays yet.

Looking back over a month's wagers on baseball I can see what has worked for me and what hasn't. In the period between July 19 and August 18 I placed 171 wagers on MLB. I used one spot and three chase systems created by Covers members in this forum. Over the last two weeks I also tailed two bloggers selections as spot picks.
I altered chase strategies by only playing a maximum of two games after losing my first three games series and realizing the cost. I understand some of these systems performed better earlier in the season and I may be evaluating them in a time period they weren't expected to work in.
Following six different strategies brings it's own problems. Opposing views had me looking at both sides or a consensus on one team by three systems that eventually provided an expensive loser. Daily returns churned back and forth, the end result leaves me up a mere 3.05 units. Better than a loss but not exactly my target.
Two systems performed very well and I will continue to use them this season and likely all seasons to come. They are Run Line Blitz by prof8t and HFOUDL by Tomspeople. Both of these are chase systems. I intend to modify both systems by limiting chases to two games. I checked on playing the same games as spot plays but the two game chase was significantly better.
The RLB system only targets one game a day but I have started investigating including secondary games with odds greater that -200.
This isn't a system but tailing the free pick posted by VegasElite in his blog also did very well. I may continue to play and track these as well.
Of course now that other sports are starting to appear I expect a larger focus on Football, Soccer, Hockey and Basketball!
