I'm fairly new here and admit I do not have the JM system. But from what I understand it chases losses. Seems like he has a fairly good record when it comes to the C games. So why not just bet those games? With touts that I have used in the past, it seems you have great odds winning if you're betting with them after 3 consecutive losses. The problem is you're only talking about it happening 25-30 times a year (just betting one game a day). However, I was curious.....if you used several free touts, and kept track of their losses. Hindsight would say you have pretty good odds of winning that fourth game. Has anyone here looked into something like this further?

I have my theory on why not just play the C games. It goes like this. So you play an A game and lose. Now the pressure is on to win the next game B. For the players, it has everything to do with emotion. If a team loses the point spread by X number of points, there is more motivation to come out hard the following game, unless a star player is injured.
So let's assume the team you bet for in the A game loses. No biggie, they probably come out harder in B. If they lose that, most likely they play harder in C. But, let's say your bet-on team covers game A, then turns around and covers B. Now you either have a team on a roll or you have a team that is over-confident. More often than not on the road, they come out flat in game C and you lose.
The Morrison system is a chase and using statistics, says you have a 1/2 chance of covering A. You have a 3/4 chance of covering B or game A (or a better way to look at it... you have a 1/4 chance of losing both A and B). Now with game C, there is a 7/8 chance you win either A or B or C (or a 1/8 chance you lose all three). The odds he uses to calculate, (remember the guy claims he is a PhD in Statistics, so I know where this is coming from) is taken from probability of an event occurring based on the outcome of prior events.
So, now you are wondering since all games are independent, what does it have to do with prior results? Well, not much. I hope you are not talking about Morrison, first of all I also have his service and he doesn't call anyone back, he takes his money and disappears for a while and then comes back around to ask for more money. His east/west system in the NBA is not even his system, that system has been around before he even surfaced! I'll say it again, like I did about 3 or 4 other times and LIPPSMAN, WARPATH, CPK007 and some of the other guys that have been around for a long time will agree, Morrison has taken something from someone else and marketed the hell out of it and made a lot of money in the process, and as for MLB, last year he lost 7 games, that's right 7, 3 game chases! Then morrison added some filters and pretended like the losses never happened but my experience in baseball is that the "c" bet is no better than a 50/50 proposition. if you were going to play any bet make it the "B" bet as that has the highest win% over the past few years

Goomba everyone is welcome and I too am all about making money too...I'm not here to bash JM....I paid for it like everyone else....I just want the guy who started the thread to get an honest answer from someone who went through last summer. I hope the new filters are awesome and there are no losses but you have to be realistic too..

I can see your point cpk.........sometimes I play the same amount for each bet.a,b,c etc, then when I hit, I parlay the next play. I do agree, it gets heavy chasing. So I mix it up and its been working great. No matter what, I never bet more than 25% of my bankroll per series. It works. I'll use my judgement on the C bets.........sometimes I just dont like em. This is where teasers help. Just my opinion

You are not exactly correct. He listed Sac as a C play (it was listed as a play). Sac was playing Philly and getting their clocks cleaned at halftime. The game started at 7:05. At about 9:30 Morrison sent out an email stating that Sac wasn't a play because they were the worst defensive team. I have the email to prove it.
He changed the info on the link he sends.
When questioned on it JM claimed the play was a personal play. He has acted like the game(series) never existed.
Since realistically being 0-1 the system has been money going 72 - 0. Would have had another win but chose not to play Okl City when they fit the system. OKL City won on the A game.
I am not a promoter just looking to make $$$ and give credit where credit is due. Its amazing how many times when the dust clears on a series it is a win even when it seems not to be a smart play.
It just bothers me he doesn't man up about it.
He did the same thing with baseball. Last year his system ended up with 5 losses. (I followed it from day 1). He recalculated the system at the end of the year with a filter that supposedly would have made the system 33-0. That is what he claimed the system was. That still wouldn't be accurate because the Red Sox lost 1 of the series against the Angels at home. The filter eliminates playing lower winning % teams.
Bottom line 72-1 is still awesome, just man up after a hiccup.

Now to add to the continuing JM saga, I also purchased his system near the very end of the MLB season last year. Prior to my purchase, I read his web page and the numbers about his winning percentile were amazing. I also emailed JM several times which I still have copies of, and received confirmation that 1) He would send me his picks the NIGHT BEFORE each game and 2) that we had his picks for life. That all sounded good so I signed up. His NBA system was good overall but for the small bettor, it can get shaky when you are loading up for a C wager. A loss or two could put you way behind the $$ truck.
Shortly after the NBA season started, I (along with many others) recieved an email from JM stating that he wanted another $125 to be put on his "Preferred Service" list. After several emails where I reminded him of his prior emails regarding his committment, he relented. Then, at the end of the NBA season, a new V2.0 was advertised for another $125. This is supposed to do everything but butter your toast in the morning. I purchased the new system, just some more check wickets to go through before betting. He then asked for another $125 to be on his "Preferred Service" list. My point in all this is that JM suckes his customers in with his $197 price, promises them overnight picks and all this for life, then starts his money-leeching tactics.
You do not need to be a statistics guru to put pencil to paper and see that if this money-grubbing trend were extrapolated, his system could soon be one of the most expensive on the market. All paid for by his trusting customers. This is what I am upset with him about. Not the results of the system. If he is making his $5k and $10k bets as he states on each game, that alone should put him in a very comfortable financial spot. The money gained by the system is enough, but this makes it even better.

Good post KAZIDOG, This is the kind of stuff I am talking about and you my friend are just one of many. With that said be careful with with MLB plays, his filters are suspect. GOOOMBA61 makes a good point for all, never bet more than a certain amount of your bankroll on a given series. We know what the PROS say 1-3% of your bankroll on a given game, unless you are snowballing that account of corse.

Good post KAZIDOG, This is the kind of stuff I am talking about and you my friend are just one of many. With that said be careful with with MLB plays, his filters are suspect. GOOOMBA61 makes a good point for all, never bet more than a certain amount of your bankroll on a given series. We know what the PROS say 1-3% of your bankroll on a given game, unless you are snowballing that account of corse.
Ya man, all good stuff guys...I love the stats. Lets keep a close eye on the mlb picks, and if anyone comes up with a twist to make the system better, we'll pass it on. I appreciate all the input to my post. BTY, I NEVER pay him any extra $$............and he does pay if you refer someone. I have a capper thats 8-3 right now, and if its not a fluke, I'll start passing them on........I dont want to sandbag anybody. Good luck boys

I am going to attempt the JM baseball system with a common-sense approach to the bankroll and add the following filter: If one of the top two pitchers for the team you are supposed to bet against is facing one of the bottom two starters for the team you are to bet for then I won't take that game. I am not purchasing his new system. Also, I am going to keep a close eye on the power rankings and that may factor into my decisions as well. Comments appreciated.
