Get this 42-inch plasma HDTV for $776.99 after $623 savings. Shipping is about $65, or free if you pick it up in store. It sells for $1,399 at Circuit City.
That's not too bad, but I think you will find a better deal.
But really, an extra $600 for just 5 more inches.

I guess my mind is infested with cons on plasma not to consider it. Looking more into the digital ones. Unless anyone could substantially convince me why plasma is better.

Sounds good. But, I would like to get answers to the following questions.
Does plasma TVs consume more power?
Are we able to play video games without any screen burnouts?
Why are digital TV's alot more expensive?
Can the screen be viewable in all angles?
I might have other questions. But, those are the ones I have now. The answers might lure me to switch to plasma instead.
Thanks

Now I would like to get opinions on all who own a digital and/or plasma tv.
Not considering the cost of the TVs. If you had to buy one. Which would it be?

I have multiples of both. The main ones I use at home are plasma's and when I want to seriously watch something or hook up the game system it's on a plasma.
When the company want's something to look really good or to impress some people at a trade show we push the plasmas. When I want one guy to be able to handle a screen by himself or the client doesn't want to really spend much money on a rental we rent the LCD's.
I would buy a plasma over an LCD anytime for personal viewing. The LCD's are getting better, but they just are not quite there yet.
Thanks.
