Would probably be best if you put the HD in another computer and get them that way. Or get a adapter and make an external drive and just plug it in a USB port to look for your files.
Do you have access to another computer ?

Problem is that a trojan has caused this issue. It must be deep rooted because when I run the AVG scan it says it removes it and then when you restart the computer the virus relaunches.
I haven't messed around with the computer for a couple weeks but last time I removed the virus and rebooted it, it started up and windows loaded but then the blue screen came up about an error.

Ah, then lets do this. Start your computer in safe mode with no networking and do a scan. That way the virus most likely will not be able to load. AVG looks ugly in safe mode, but it will scan. There are a few other things we can do after this. But lets see how this works out.

Call Microsoft directly. They are extremely good with viruses, and have walked me through getting rid of 1 or 2 over the past few years. They are very persistent and don't stop until they have 100% fixed your problem. That being said it can take over an hour... so have some free time available.
