Managed to stupidly drop in a virus called "Anti Virus 7" It's now on my desktop, can't delete it, takes control of everything, pops up every 30 seconds and tries to sell me an anti virus package.
Called Geek Squad and they said "Antivirus7" IS the Trojan and it will cost 200 dollars to remove it from my hard drive. You have got to be kidding me? This Toshiba isn't even worth that.
Anything I can do in this spot? What a nightmare.
Thanks very much guys.

Have malwarebytes on your pc? If so, run both malwarebytes and your antivirus program. If that doesn't take care of it, try booting your pc in safe mode and running both of them again
Antivirus 7 Description
Antivirus 7 is a rogue anti-virus
program that reports false threats and displays fake security alerts on
your PC. Antivirus 7 does this to convince you that your computer is
infected with malware. This fake program is promoted and installed
through the use of Trojans and often comes bundled with other malicious
software. Antivirus 7 is part of a blatant scam used to con you into
paying for removal of infections which don't exist. Remove Antivirus 7
and all associated threats using an updated anti-virus program

I'm not sure who's running the bigger scam here: the hackers or Geek Squad. Like KQC said, start up your PC in safe mode and run all your anti-virus and spyware programs to hopefully get rid of it.
Oh, and it goes without saying: don't pony up the cash for the software. Even if it actually did exist, I'm sure your credit card number is their ultimate goal.

If it blocks your current virus/malware checkers (it usually does a good job of that), download combofix from bleepingcomputer.com (google search combofix bleepingcomputer and it's the first link) and on that page download it and read the instructions on how to use it. Save it to your desktop and when you save it name it anything else but combofix (I use c.exe for example). Run it. It is good at removing AV7 from my own experience with people having that one. Run your other virus/spyware checkers after you finish running this. I usually run malwarebytes after running the combofix.
$200 is ridiculous for something they should be able to remove in less than a couple hours.
