I was looking at the reviews for an ASUS android tablet on Amazon. I immediately became sick of the trend how electronics -but especially tablets- HAVE to be matched up against Apple..The thing with Google's Android and its 3rd party suppliers are several promises that have not materialized, unlike the ipad. Apple doesnt even bother to boast or make claims, they just try to make user friendly, good looking, and often cutting edge products. Most of the reviews were so uncritical and barely observant of the ASUS tablet, that I didnt really learn anything, except that ppl finnally have a reason not to use their ipad (only took a couple years,eh?). Its amazing how hypercritical everyone is of Apple and its ipad/iphone devices, despite what little competition they have.
BTW its not that am appled-out I defend them; its the fact im burnt out by all the apple haters. Personally, the Google product I am waiting for is the Chrome OS, BUT ONLY if it is released on a tablet...gonna be sweet..at least so they promised...
