Hey Guys,
I'm looking from some input. I just bought a 40" HD 1080p TV. So my question is..... What’s my best bet to get the best picture and the value to watch movies and maybe play games? Do I buy a PS3, XBOX360, Blu-Ray or HD DVD player?
It seems like everyone has a different opinion. I do enjoy playing some games, so I'm wondering if that's my best way to go for value.
Lippsman, care to expound on this "difference" a bit? And is it worth the extra money? Currently I'm running it off the cable provided by Comcast and I think it's equivalent to some of their best show room feeds in the store. However I'm always in the market for improvement.

Well what you said tells volumes right there. The showroom feed that is being split about 50 to 100 ways is the same quality as your one plasma at home. That's a problem, your feed should look better than the showrooms.
Almost all sets that I have set up that are say 50" or bigger I've noticed a difference in the quality. If you already have the cable I wouldn't worry about it. Sometimes you have to look pretty hard to notice the difference.
