Let me start by saying I'm not computer savy. As you may have already guessed from my topic heading. I ran a Malewarebytes and AVG .................nothing comes up. However, these daily winner pop-ups will not stop.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Let me start by saying I'm not computer savy. As you may have already guessed from my topic heading. I ran a Malewarebytes and AVG .................nothing comes up. However, these daily winner pop-ups will not stop.
Make sure you clicked on the update tab for Malwarebytes. Also do a full scan if you haven't.
If you are using IE, then click on tools at the top, or right side of your toolbar......Click on internet options.......click on the far right tab that says advanced.......click on the bottom right button that says reset.......There may be a box you can check on the next screen. If there is, check it and then click on the reset button. This will reset IE, which was infected with crap.
Sometimes you will get message that you have to close IE first. If this happens do everything I said, but you will need to go to control panel and click on internet options........If for some reason you don't see that click on the top left and click on classic view......If you have XP or Vista.......if you have Windows 7, you will need to click on the top right and pick small or large icons instead of catagory view.......
