Guys I am doing some research into which TV to get for our upstairs bedroom. I am getting a 32 inch TV most likely. I probably want to get a SONY, but am open to other brands, especially because of the cost LOL. Here are my questions.
Do I want to get a 1080P or a 720P? I have both Time Warner Cable and DirecTV, which broadcast in 1080I. Is the difference between 720P and 1080P that much? I don't watch a lot of DVDs and I do not do any gaming , just watch sports pretty much.
Is it worth it to me to get a Sony, compared to say Sharp or Samsung? I am talking about on both fronts, reliability and picture.
Is it possible to even find a Sony 32 Inch LCD with 1080P for less than a grand??? All I find are really expensive models. Are other brands just as reliable, or at least close for less cash?
I am open to getting a 26 inch for the bedroom, but I am thinking that a 32 Inch TV may be lass than say $800 AFTER Christmas, which I might just wait for. Any advice?
Any comments on any of these questions would be helpful. I may get a TV in the next week, OR I may wait until January for those post hoilday sales.
