I'm thinking of getting an iPhone from AT&T, replacing my Blackberry. I like the big screen and ease of use, but the Motorola Devour has the keyboard I like. Thoughts? Suggestions?

i went from a sidekick to an iphone and then switched to a droid. for me personally, i need to have the feel of pressing actually keys like a keyboard. i hated typing on the iphone and that is why i switched. everything else about it is great: music, movies, internet but i just couldn't stand the iphone keyboard.
i don't know what carrier you have now but you can save a lot of money by just buying the iphone and unlocking/jailbreaking it and keeping it on your previous network.

What.......you have a way of making it CDMA-capable?

Although I'm an "Apple supporter", I'm trying not to be biased, but I love my 3G iPhone and I honestly cannot see myself ever getting a different phone in the future. Yeah the 3GS came out and now yesterday the iPhone 4 was released at the WWDC Keynote, but I still like my 3G and I plan on having it for another year if I can. Although it doesn't shoot video I can still update my software (free of charge) to OS 4.0 (when it is released in the near future) and get most of the new features.

I just bought the Verizon Incredible phone by HTC. I'm an Apple user and it was a pretty big decision to ditch my iPhone, knowing nothing would sync up. The main reason I hesitated to buy another iPhone was that I absolutely hate AT&T service, both cellular and customer, and I've grown to hate Apple a little as well (too over priced).
So, after months of hesitation I went with the new Incredible. If you've never owned an iPhone, then the experience is probably "incredible." However, if you owned an iPhone before, then this phone has some irritating shortcomings. The contacts don't allow you to enter someone by nickname, in addition to their real name.
In other words, you can't put in your Mom's name and also have her come up as "Mom." That bugs me.
The Voice Mail system is inferior to Apple's in every way. I'd forgotten how much phone tree work their is with Verizion, which just uses the standard AT&T voice mail system. Apple's is a major time saver.
Finally, the Apps in their "Market" are pretty lame compared to Apple's. Apps are overrated anyway, but I was disappointed by the Apps I found, or couldn't find. And it's great to be reminded of viruses when you open up the Market store. They've got feedback after some Apps that includes virus complaints. And with a "Pretty Girls" app, I'm not surprised. So, right away the inclusion of the "sleeze" Apps stood out since they're not available on iTunes, where viruses aren't available as well.
Since my phone began to malfunction in weird ways after I downloaded some apps (I think Twitter phucks up the Incredible FYI), it's a reminder how simple everything is w/ Apple.
And speaking of simple, the Incredible is pretty simple but ultimately I had to open up my direction's manual to figure a couple of things out. With Apple? I've never once needed an owner's manual to figure out anything on the iPhone. It's just so intuitive towards how my brain works.
There you go.

I wasn't able to download Covers Mobile on the Incredible. I'm not sure, but they're seemed to be some technical issues that prevented the final stages.

I lost my iPhone in December, so I didn't just "ditch" my iPhone. I've been cell-less since, before buying the Incredible, and boy was that nice. I wanted to clarify.
