I have a Compaq Presario laptop and I tend to watch a lot of DVDs on it and over here in Ireland the DVD region code is 2.So if you happen to get any dvds from the US,region code 1, you have to switch the region set up on your laptop, doesn't matter what media player you use it's a hardrive issue I think.
Now it will allow to change regions 6 times, that's back and forth 3 times, and I was wondering is there any way to bypass this?
When you've hit your 6th changeover the computer will only play dvds from that region.

I have windows media, real player, quicktime and a couple of others but I think it's something with the computer itself. It's nodeal as my dvd player at home is multi region but it's just annoying with all the different region codes and so on and a lot of stuff in the US is not released elsewhere
By the way what does SAF stand for? It's just really annoying when I see acronyms and abbreviations that other people use and I don't understand them
