Lipps man, need help...........

What's up dude,
 
My fucking screen went out on my laptop.  What is the cheapest way to replace this fucking thing.  Some dinks asked for 280.  I can buy a new fucking desktop for that.  Any opinions.  I think it's backlight, I can see the images very dim running on the screen but barely.  I plugged it into the big screen and I'm about to get stigmitism from reading on a 62 inch tv. HELP.

oh, and where can i find drivers for a canoscan n67ou? I can't find installation disk.  Thanks dude.

What's the make and model of the laptop ?  As long as it's not a 17" screen it will run about $125-150 and an hour of labor to install it.  So it looks like they are beating you out about $70.  If they don't usually install laptop screens it could take two hours and the $280 would be about right.
