I've looked on the net about managing add-ons...I looked and i have about 70, could this cause some of my problems such as slow internet and the not responding error?

It could, but exactly what add ons do you have?  Are you using Firefox?

No IE6.0...Heres some add-ons...

Well all of those you pretty much need.  I think I know where your problem is.
 
Click on start
Click on run
Type msconfig
Hit enter
click on the startup tab and see how many programs are checked

2 under start up:

2 wire set-up
smart-nav (head controlled mouse)

You gotta have more than two programs under startup.  I mean when you type in msconfig and hit the enter button. Then click on the startup tab on the far right

Ok..........Is there anyway you can take a screenshot of all of those and e-mail it.  I imagine you will have to take a few screenshots.

If you are feeling frisky though, you can take out anything to do with updates, real audio, quicktime, quickbooks.  Make sure you leave anything that mentions your anti-virus.  You should see a few of those.

Is that the only way, I'm paralyzed, so I can't do this shit by myself lol...

Heres the list if this helps, if not, I can get someone to take a picture... My comp is my lifeline on it 24/7, so I really appreciate all your help.

I found a website and went through them all and disabled the ones I needed. The ones that come up with a U User's choice what do i do with those? Thanks

I got rid of 16 so far so I still have like 34 is that still to many? There were a few I couldn't find such as

Hey there, just got back up.  I am on the East coast.
 
You can take out all of those, now remember that you are not uninstalling these programs but are just taking them out of your startup.
 
After taking these out you should see a great improvement

Most of those Toshiba services are not really needed, but they don't take up many resources.  Uncheck the ones that are in Red. If you use Itunes a good bit leave that one alone.  But it not, kill it

Now i had this

re-started my comp sees ok now
