Free AVG at end of novemeber is makin u update to a PAID version...no more freebies i guess

i know u use AVG for your biz..or at least u have or did

what would u recommend for a free anti-virus that is robust and does the trick...my clients like the freebies

Dont mess with AVG it sucks. Use Eset Nod32 , i have listed in another thread how easy it is to get a perfectly fine paid version of this program.

version 8.5 is ending in nov, this is version 9.0

AVG is a very good program.

knock on wood i havent gotton one virus with avg and i do lots of surfing on all kinds of sites

Compared to NOD32 it's still a very good program.  I like NOD32 better also, but that doesn't mean that AVG isn't any good. Considering that AVG has a free program that is almost as good as the regular version I say that's a huge advantage.

Well yeah i know we should not advocate for piracy, but Eset Nod 32 is one of the easier programs to have on your pc and for free. And in my opinion it is the program of them all who hogs less resources which is always good.

I don't advocate for piracy for sure, not only do the companines take a hit, but more times then not that pirate software has tons of spyware in it.
